Toy Donations

Working through the non-profit Japan NPO Center, we donated toys to three organizations in particular need of them (Family House, Japan Toy Library Foundation and Niigata Saigai Volunteer Network).
We will continue to hold exchanges and use our business activities to help solve society's problems.

Thirty-three TAIYO ELEC employees gave blood during a visit by doctors and nurses of the Japanese Red Cross Society.
The program was initiated based on the results of a CSR survey given to all employees. Additional opportunities to give blood will be provided in the future.

Sponsoring Student Events

DARTSLIVE takes the initiative in supporting events organized by students. In support of a public speaking competition held in August 2009 (Katakurico Tempting Championship 2009, bringing together 27 university broadcasting clubs and organizations), DARTSLIVE assisted with event management.
The company will continue to support creative opportunities for promising students.

Picture Book Project

In support of the Shanti Volunteer Association's "Campaign to Deliver Picture Books," the Company has participated in the program since 2008.
To compensate for the lack of childrenfs books published in countries such as Cambodia and Laos, this initiative provides picture books published in Japan (to which translations have been affixed) to those countries.
In fiscal 2010, 87 of these books were created.
More SEGA SAMMY Group employees will be encouraged to participate in the future, in hopes that these efforts will catch on.

Chitose Junior Sports Festival

Since 2008, we have promoted a variety of sports competitions as part of the SEGA SAMMY Cup.
In 2009, we gave a total of nine types of junior sports clinics in Chitose, Hokkaido.
This included a SNAG (acronym for Starting New at Golf) golf clinic put on by professionals playing in the SEGA SAMMY Cup.
The SEGA SAMMY Baseball Club gave a clinic in baseball and female members of the former SEGA SAMMY Track Club did the same for their sport.
Other groups and individuals also helped put on clinics.
