SEGA SAMMY College is a corporate university where employees learn together across Group boundaries.
From business skills courses to special lectures by instructors at the forefront of their fields, the College offers nearly 200 courses annually.
Since opening in 2018, over 60,000 employees have taken courses.

New Employee Training

New Employee Training

In new employee training, which lasts for about one month after joining the company, employees develop a deeper understanding of the philosophy and business while acquiring foundational skills as working professionals. Employees build bonds with their peers as they prepare for assignment to different departments in May.

Training Period

Structure of the Training Program (Example)

  • Understanding Philosophy and Business

    Employees learn the Group’s values through the Mission Pyramid and other frameworks, developing a deeper understanding of the purpose and social role of SEGA SAMMY.

  • Business Manners and Skills Training

    Through practical exercises in anticipation of their jobs post-assignment, employees improve their foundational skills as working professionals (manners, mindset, and general skills).

  • Business Simulation

    Through group work and presentations themed on solving customer challenges, employees develop thinking and proposal skills while grappling with questions that don’t have black and white answers.

    To develop talent capable of working around the globe, we have established an international study program, free English conversation lessons, and e-learning for 18 languages. We offer classes not only on language skills but also workshops where employees can learn about different cultures.
