REGULAR DANCER
3 KANAU
Fukuoka Prefecture’s KANAU brings Kyushu’s unique vibes to the SEGA SAMMY LUX team. His youth was one of mischief, and he excelled at sports and anything else that involved moving his body. He began learning dance after his mother, who was interested in dance herself, took him with to a local dance school. KANAU lived and breathed dance from then on. He actively participated in various dance battles and events, primarily in Kyushu, with his top performance in these garnering him substantial praise from the local scene.
When KANAU’s all-round ability to command any hip-hop style takes shape as dance moves, it blows crowds away.

REGULAR DANCER
7 KENTARO
SEGA SAMMY LUX is full of “characters,” but KENTARO is the one with the most unique career.
He started out as an ordinary young man. When he entered college, he left behind a decade of baseball and joined a Dance school of college to start learning house dance. At the time, dance was just a hobby for KENTARO, who even went to Canada to study English so he could eventually teach it in Japanese schools. However, while overseas he had visions of performing on-stage, a dream he had held inside for a long time. This led him to do an about-face and set out to become a dancer.
After returning to Japan, KENTARO came knocking on the door of Bobby, the biggest name in the industry, despite having no previous history with hip-hop himself. He would go on to polish his skills with BEARARMZ and J.S.B. underground to eventually become a new school dancer who now handles hip-hop and house dancing with ease and enraptures crowds with his passion-filled footwork and fluid ground moves.
KENTARO’s mission in this season’s battle together with his teammates is not only to come out on top, but to make more people aware of the existence of D.LEAGUE.
KENTARO is living proof that age does not matter when reaching for your dreams.

REGULAR DANCER
8 KURASHOU
KURASHOU to start learning dance due to the influence EXILE had on him. He became a student at EXPG STUDIO KYOTO in 2016. During his time there, he appeared as a backup dancer in the live performances of numerous artists. At 2019’s THE STAGE OSAKA, he appeared in a ten-person J.S.B. underground number after being singled out from among EXPG STUDIO’s 10,000 students. This was the trigger for him to begin studying under Bobby (J.S.B. underground), travelling all the way from Kyoto to Tokyo for monthly lessons. In 2020, KURASHOU went to Los Angeles by himself to learn about and experience local hip-hop culture, spending nearly a month immersed in dance.
In recent years KURASHOU has been branching out into other areas, which includes working as the MC for DANCE ALIVE HERO’S SKY STAGE.
